Week 5

For you to be where I think you should be, you need to begin working on Movie Maker at some point today. If you don’t make it there, you are a little bit behind.

I know many of you still need to finish and turn in your Storyboard. If you don’t remember how to turn it in:

1. Go to Google Classroom

2. Click on the assignment, “Storyboard”

3. At the bottom of the page, click the “Add” button

4. Select Google Drive

5. Select your Storyboard assignment and turn it in

If your pictures are having problems on Movie Maker:

1. Delete them from your project  2. Rename them in your H Drive   3. Put them back in your project.

If you are working on step #4 (Movie Maker), get all of your pictures and text inserted into the project. If you are ready to get your drawn picture into your project you will need to take a picture of it with a tablet. I have 2 tablets for you to borrow. After you borrow a tablet, follow these instructions for taking pictures and saving them to your H Drive:

1. Turn it on and Log in

2. Touch the Windows Icon in the bottom left corner

3. Touch the purple camera icon

4. Take the picture of your drawn picture

5. Close out of the camera

6. Press the Desktop Icon

7. Open the “Folders” in the bottom left corner

You need to be 100% finished with everything before you worry about finding and importing music into your Movie. MUSIC SHOULD BE YOUR VERY LAST STEP! Here is the link to the music website that you are allowed to use. This is the only music website that you can use for this assignment. You can watch a video that shows you how to use this website and how to save the music. Go to the Video (V) Drive>Osborne>Computer Tutorials>Importing Songs.

You also need to watch a 2nd video about the music at Video (V) Drive>Osborne>Computer Tutorials>Importing Songs 2  Make sure you watch both videos or you won’t be able to import your song into Movie Maker!

You can view my example video that I created by going to the Video (V) Drive>Osborne>Sports Island Example

Whenever you finish your movie/commercial, make sure that you save it the correct way. If you aren’t finished, save it like normal (File>Save as to your H Drive) Re-watch the Movie Maker Tutorial because it shows you how to save it in the correct format whenever you are 100% done with it. Whenever you save it in the video format I want you to save it to Students (I) Drive>Osborne>Your Hour>Islands
