Week 5

Finish Assignments

Today is your final day with your current partner. Tomorrow we will get new partners and move onto a new project. Finish any assignment from this rotation that you haven’t turned in yet.

Europe Video

If you are finished with everything today, you are going to watch a video. Whenever people think about Europe, they usually think about England, France, Spain, Italy, or other similar countries. One overlooked area of Europe is the Scandinavian Peninsula. Today’s video shows what it takes to survive in the harsh conditions of Sweden. To access the video, go to Google Classroom.

If you don’t have headphones, you can borrow some, but you will lose your daily points for not having your supplies.

Week 5

Famous Landform/ Landmark Google Earth

Most didn’t finish this assignment yesterday. I noticed students having some trouble with a few of them so I went back and added some more details to some of the descriptions in Google Earth.

Make sure you go into “Present” to see the correct locations.

Catch Up Day

After you finish the Google Earth Assignment, check IC to make sure you have everything turned in from this rotation. If you do, you may play Cool Math.

Week 5

Famous Landforms/Landmarks

Today we are going to take a break from focusing solely on Europe and take a look at some of the most famous Landforms/Landmarks that we’ve learned about this school year.

For this assignment you are going to be in Google Classroom. You will use the attached link from classroom that will take you on a Google Earth tour to complete the assignment.

Week 4

Missing Assignments

I had planned on giving a new assignment today, but we have too many students that are missing multiple assignments from this rotation so I feel like I need to slow the pace down a little bit. Today you need to work on anything that’s missing from this rotation. Tomorrow we will move onto something new.

We’ve done lots of assignments so far in this rotation:

-Basics of Christianity

-Europe Capitals

-Religion Comparison Chart

-Europe Map

-Landmark Vocabulary

Reward

If you have everything turned in, you are one of the few. To reward you for having everything finished, you may play Cool Math today, but you must have everything turned in first.

Week 4

European Landmarks

Today you are going to work on an assignment that focuses on European Landmarks.

You can access the assignment at Google Classroom.

For this assignment you will use the internet to find a picture of the landmark and research information about it. On each slide you will need to:

1. Insert a picture of the landmark

2. Insert a textbox and answer what country it is located in.

3. Insert a textbox to answer what it is and why it is special. This one needs to be in complete sentences.

Tip: The Kremlin and St. Basil’s Cathedral are not the same thing.

I did the first one for you as an example. This assignment is a longer assignment. It will likely take you a couple of days to complete it.

Whenever you are finished, turn it in.
