Week 3

Australia Scavenger Hunt

Most of you still need to finish that assignment from last week. Finish it and then go back in Google Classroom and click the “Turn In” button.

Absolute and Relative Location

This was something we talked about a while back and some of you struggled with it. Remember to pay close attention to the questions. If they ask for Absolute, you will use the coordinates at the top, bottom, and sides to find your location. If it asks for Relative Location, you will need 2 locations and 1 direction. For example, the Relative Location of Carthage is east of Joplin. Carthage and Joplin are the 2 locations and east is the direction.

Your assignment is here: Australia absolute and relative location

As always, make sure you use complete sentences and a different color font for your answers.

When you finish, save it and turn it in.

Thursday we will meet in the Media Center to take our Common Assessments. This Common Assessment will cover the Middle East. It’s been a while since we’ve discussed the Middle East so I want you to have a little bit of review material for this.

Mrs. Jones put together a review for Common Assessment #3 for her classes and I would like for you to do it too. On the ones that are multiple choice, Bold the answer that you believe to be correct. You may use previous assignments and the internet to complete this. If you finish, save it to your H Drive and we will discuss it in class tomorrow. STUDY GUIDE CA #3
