Week 7

In day 2 of the 12 Days of Videos I present an Ok Go video. Ok Go is a band that tries to think outside of the box to create their music videos. I think some of their videos are absolutely brilliant. They will pop up another time or two before the semester is over. In this video, they worked with students from MIT to put together this crazy Rube Goldberg Machine. You can access the video at Video (V)>Osborne>End of School

Today you need to continue working on the project. If you don’t finish step #1 by the end of class today, you are very behind. Today you should be working on step #2.

For step #2 you need to get a plain white sheet of paper off of the desk at the front of the room and draw a map of your country.

-Draw and Label the bordering countries and landforms

-Label your artifact’s locations on the map

-Color it

-Do your best work

-If you want, you can leave your country white, but color all surrounding countries and landforms. That way it looks like the example in the project directions.

When you finish step #2, make sure you don’t lose it! You will have to take a picture of your map with a tablet and insert it into your commercial. You will also need to give me your map whenever you present so I can look at it a little bit closer.

I’m hopeful that you can finish step #2 today. If you get it done early, continue working on your study guide. I will give you step #3 instructions on Monday.
