Week 6

Today we are on the 1:00 bell schedule. You will only have about 28 minutes (except 5th hour). After Thanksgiving Break, I will give you 1 more full class period to finish your projects. Make sure that you save your project in the correct folder whenever you are finished.

After you finish, make sure that you turned in your Landform Vocabulary PowerPoint. I’m still missing several of those. If you have that turned in you may:

-Read a book

-Work on homework for another class

-Visit class links

Digital Camera Instructions:

1. Press the Power Button on the top.

2. Press and hold the Silver Circle on top to the camera to take a picture. You can zoom in and out with the long black button above “menu” and “s.night”, but you probably won’t need to use this.

3. After you take the picture, leave the camera on and use the cord from the pouch to connect the camera to your computer.

4. A box should pop up on your screen asking you if you want to open files. Click on “Open Folders”. If this box doesn’t pop up, click on “computer” on your desktop. Click on the (E) Drive which is a removable disc.

5. Click the DCIM Folder>Click the 100 Photo Folder>Scroll to the very bottom and double click on your photo.

6. Whenever the new box with your picture pops up, click FILE and “Make a Copy”.

7. Click on your H Drive and name the Picture the same name as your island and click “SAVE”
Watch the video tutorial for Windows Movie Maker. You can access the movie from the Video (V) Drive>Osborne>Computer Tutorials>Movie Maker Tutorial.

Here is the link to the music website that you are allowed to use. This is the only music website that you can use for this assignment. You can watch a video that shows you how to use this website and how to save the music. Go to the Video (V) Drive>Osborne>Computer Tutorials>Importing Songs.

You can view my example video that I created by going to the Video (V) Drive>Osborne>Sports Island Example

Whenever you finish your movie/commercial, make sure that you save it the correct way. Re-watch the Movie Maker Tutorial because it shows you how to save it in the correct format whenever you are 100% done with it. Whenever you save it in the video format I want you to save it to Students (I) Drive>Osborne>Your Hour>Islands
